Josh Parolin

Front-End Engineer

I was introduced to the internet at age ten as a victim of a sporadic 56k dialup connection. I built my first website using an HTML for Dummies book at age 11. Immediately after, I taught myself CGI / Perl and the world changed as I knew it.

I focus my efforts on front-end engineering, although my knowledge spans the entire stack. I thrive at translating mock-ups and wireframes into data-driven, interactive experiences for users.

The best lesson I have learned on this journey so far is that, truly, code makes anything possible.

Currently: In love with node.js. Studying JavaScript design patterns. Working on becoming better at leveraging TDD / BDD principles. Open to hearing about new opportunities.
